Dear Club Supporter and secretaries of Local Camera Clubs

As someone who has expressed a previous interest in Devizes Camera Club events I am sending you a reminder of the above mentioned showcase event, which has now been launched. The event is titled, 'New Frontiers' and is being held at the Arc Theatre in Trowbridge.
It will be on Saturday April 12th commencing 7-30 p.m. Tickets are £12-50p if booked through the club. Tickets can also be booked on line atThe Arc Theatre website. www.arctheatre.org.uk

His projects include conservation of the 'Highland Tiger' and he is the founding member of the 'Wild Wonders Of Europe.' You can be reassured you will see some rare and spectacular images and see some of his memorable encounters with wildlife. We are indeed very lucky to book Peter as his work and his presentations tend to be focussed in Europe, Northern England and Scotland.
We are delighted that 'The Arc Theatre' will once again be hosting our showcase event. Do come along and join us in what we know will be an enjoyable evening.

Photography Studio Lighting Workshops

I'm contacting you to draw your attention to a number of photographic workshops I'm staging on the 19th and 20th February. The event is an opportunity to get hands-on experience with professional studio lighting, the use of soft-boxes, umbrellas and beauty dishes in a relaxed, friendly environment.

There will be at least two paid professional female models available at each session who will pose in a number of outfits from casual to glamorous to provide variety to the shoot. Different models will be available on each day for photographers who wish to attend on both days. Other models may attend on a 'time for prints' basis.

There are two sessions available each day: morning 9:30am - 1:00pm and afternoon 2:00pm - 5:30pm. Participants can chose morning, afternoon or all-day sessions.

The event will be held at The Centre for Science & Art, Lansdown, Stroud. Numbers are limited to just six photographers per session to allow each participant an opportunity to work individually with each model, therefore, advanced booking is essential.

The cost per session is £35 (£60 all day) and bookings can be made by e-mail to terry.allsopp@o2.co.uk . Please state which sessions you are interested in and include either an e-mail address or a contact phone number. No advance payment is required.

All lighting and seamless backdrops are provided together with refreshments. Participants will need to bring their own camera equipment and tripod (if required. )

Bookings are accepted on a 'first come first served basis' and group numbers will be strictly adhered to. I hope this may be of interest to some of your members.

If you require further information, please contact me on either (01453) 766111 mobile 07796 144 573 or e-mail terry.allsopp@o2.co.uk

Kind regards
Terry Allsopp
