THE OPEN PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY

Dear Photographic Society representative,

THE OPEN PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY

This email is directed to you because your name was found on your local photographic society's website. Should you no longer be in your photographic club role, I should be most grateful if you would please forward the message to the appropriate person.

I am sending this message to let the members of your club know about the recent launch of the Open Photographic Society (OPS) - a free, non-profit-making, on-line photographic society which offers numerous free services. OPS offers:
masses of information on all aspects of photography;
on-line evaluation of images to help win competitions;
a programme of photographic book publishing for amateur photographers;
an annual on-line photographic exhibition;
free photographic discussion forums;
free web-hosting space for personal and specialist image galleries (a small one-off set-up fee applies); and
free web-hosting space for successful distinction galleries.
The new website has already received over half a million hits in its short life, and is attracting interest from all over the English-speaking world.

Please would you be good enough to make this information available to your members. The new website is at openphotographicsociety.org (with the usual prefixes) and links to your own club site can be incorporated upon request.

Regards,

Rod Macmillan FRPS FRGS

President of OPS
