An evening with acclaimed landscape photographer Charlie Waite
This January, Winchester Photographic Society’s annual spring lecture once again brings one of the world’s greatest photographers to the Discovery Centre.
Acclaimed photographer, Charlie Waite, will present a collection of his unforgettable images, revealing the dedication and craft that it takes to become one best landscape photographers in the world.
“The Making of Landscape Photographs - An Evening with Charlie Waite” is at Winchester Discovery Centre on 18th January from 7.30pm to 10pm,

NEWS SHEET Dec 2010
The following matters were discussed at the recent Committee meeting. Could all members please read and add their names to any appropriate list.
CHRISTMAS PARTY
The seasonal party is again upon us!! If you are going to attend please bring something for the buffet. We would also like to do a free raffle for everybody at the party. To achieve this we would like members to bring a prize that can be raffled (if you're lucky you might even win the same prize back!!). Also bring PDI's of your Christmas card design for a festive viewing.
PHOTO FORUM
Our second photography forum of the season will be held on Monday 10th Jan after our showing of the SPF exhibition PDI's. In order to meet your needs we would like an indication of any photo topics or queries that you would like answered. Please indicate these below, together with your name.
WARMINSTER CAMERA CLUB Interclub Print Battle
We have been invited to participate in this competition on Sat 12th Feb 2011. We are required to select 8 prints plus 2 reserves. The committee will select our best work from members own submissions. All members are invited to submit a maximum of 2 print images for consideration. Please choose any previously used or new work that you feel is your best. Please give these to Tony Oliver by Monday 17th Jan at the latest. Only work submitted will be considered.
SPRING TRIP
Following this years successful club trip to Bexhill it has been decided to see if sufficient interest exists to run another trip next year. Provisional dates will be three days in early April 2011 and the location is likely to be Wales/Welsh Borders. If you are interested please write your name below so the committee can decide whether to proceed further.
STUDIO NIGHT
Please write your name below if you have a provisional interest in attending Mark Coutt's Photo studio in Dorset for our third session there. Final dates to be determined, provisionally a week night in March. Max numbers 12, cost approx £15.

The photographic exhibition has been extened until Friday 10 December for staff at the Godolphin School but if you would like to come and have a look, please give me a ring on my work number 430500 and ask for the school secretary.
