24 Hours in Bristol competition

With £8,000 worth of prizes "24 Hours in Bristol" is a unique photographic competition designed to capture the life of the city in a single day.

In conjunction with The Royal Photographic Society, Amateur Photographer Magazine, The Prince's Trust, The London Camera Exchange and Destination Bristol, the competition invites amateur and professional photographers from across the UK to visit Bristol.

Photographers will have a 24 hour period from midnight on Friday 18th October to midnight Saturday 19th to scour the vibrant West Country city of Bristol in search of winning photo opportunities.

On entering the competition, photographers are randomly allocated a one-hour time slot during which they must take at least one photograph, although they can enter up to five additional images taken at any time on 19th October, resulting in a fascinating hour by hour timeline of Bristol at work, rest and play.

One lucky photographer will also secure a 2 year contract documenting the transformation of the Bristol Guildhall into a five star hotel, this is a great opportunity for any eager photographer local to Bristol which includes anyone from your club.
