A celebration of contemporary art, the Aesthetica Art Prize offers both established and budding artists the opportunity to showcase their work to a wider, international audience. Prizes include:
- £1000 main prize / £500 student prize
- Group exhibition for shortlisted artists
- Editorial coverage in Aesthetica Magazine
- Publication in Aesthetica Art Prize Anthology
The Aesthetica Art Prize attracts a diverse range of contemporary art, we welcome entries from artists working in all media. Artists may submit their work into any one of the four categories for either the main prize or student prize:
- Photographic & Digital Art
- Three Dimensional Design & Sculpture
- Painting & Drawing
- Installation, Video, Performance
Entry to the Aesthetica Art Prize is £15 and this allows for two entries of artwork from any one category. The deadline for entries is 31 August 2013. Finalists will be announced in December 2013, the winners will be announced at the opening of the group exhibition in Spring 2014.
