Visit Frogmore House Garden 16th May

Dear Salisbury Camera Club,
I am writing to you on behalf of Blind Veterans UK, to inform you of an upcoming event which we believe will be of great interest to you and your photography club / society.
On Thursday 16th May, by gracious permission of Her Majesty the Queen, Frogmore House Garden, set in the grounds of Windsor Castle, will be open to the public. Blind Veterans UK has been kindly chosen to be the benefitting charity for this event. Frogmore Garden would make a stunning backdrop for any photographer – especially as public access is very rare.

Blind Veterans UK, formerly St Dunstan’s, believe no one who’s served our country should battle blindness alone. We provide vision impaired veterans with access to the finest quality services to help them discover life beyond sight loss. This includes the provision of lifelong welfare support, rehabilitation, training, long term nursing as well as residential and respite care.
Therefore, all proceeds for the Garden tickets will raise vital funds that will allow us to keep providing the invaluable services to benefit blind ex-Service men and women.

Tickets for the Garden are £5.50. Guided tours of the garden are available, subject to availability, and will cost and extra £3.00. Tickets are also available to purchase on the day but will cost a little extra.

For more information and to purchase tickets please visit http://www.blindveterans.org.uk/frogmoregarden.
We very much hope you are able to attend this event, being such a rare opportunity, whilst supporting a very worthwhile cause at the same time.
Thank you and kind regards,
Aaron Tillyer
